One Love tours is proud to give back to the Indian community that we love so much. Below is information about the charity to which we currently donate a portion of our profits to.

The name of the charity is "Pithrudevobhava Charitable Trust" with tag line "Mee Swapnam Maa Lakshyam"

Pithrudevobhava - This is a Sanskrit word meaning "Father," also translatable as "God."

Pithru + Devo + Bhava

Pithru = Dad
Devo = God
Bhava = Considered

In a typical Indian family, the father is the head of the family and is often the only bread winner, while the wife takes care of the children and the home. He works for the benefit of the family until the end of his life and supports his children by all possible means, irrespective of their age. Most often, his happiness derives entirely from the happiness of his family. This title is coined to pay homage to those fathers who have sacrificed many of their own dreams to fulfill those of their near and dear ones.

Mee Swapnam Maa Lakshyam - This tag line translates literally to "your dreams are our goal."

As the famous saying goes, "If you can imagine it, you can achieve it, if you can dream it, you can become it."
William Arthur Ward.

Dreams play a very important part in life. Every person has their own dream in life. Often, in America, we are used to having in our hands the power to make our dreams come true, but in India the extreme poverty limits many people to working their entire lives simply to prevent themselves and their families from starving; one could have dreamt of being a doctor, but is instead picking rags in the street today; another could have dreamt of being a pilot, but is instead loading cargo. Everyone dreams, but many are born into situations that make their dreams nearly impossible. It is our goal to help some of these dreams come true.

This tag line emphasizes the main service of the trust. It acts as a FATHER to underprivileged people to realize their dreams and lead a happy life. With the help of others we can strive to make a difference one life at a time.
