Day 1 : Delhi/Neemrana
On your arrival into Delhi you will be met at the airport and transferred to the north of Rajasthan where you will spend the first two nights in the historical Neemrana Fort.
Day 2 : Neemrana
Tour of the Fort and break yourself in to the Indian culture with a tour of the local village.
Day 3: Neemrana/Jaipur
Depart in the morning to Jaipur; the pink city. Spend two nights just outside of the city in a Palace where the royal family still resides. After having lunch and checking in leave for Jaipur to tour the city the remainder of the day.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Enjoy the first part of the day visiting Amber Fort and the other sites of Jaipur before heading back to the palace to see the local village and talk about Indian life with the Royal family.
Day 5 : Jaipur/Agra
Depart in the morning to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. In route visit Fatepur Sikri. On arrival into Agra you will have a chance to visit the Red Fort before checking into your guesthouse, situated in a quiet part of the city. Here you will have a chance to talk with the couple that run the guest house, the husband who was a Colonel in the Indian army for years.
Day 6 : Agra/Orcha
Wake up early to go and visit the Taj Mahal. Back to the guesthouse for a late breakfast and checkout. After checking out you will head south to Orcha, where you will again become part of history while staying in the Orcha Fort.
Day 7 : Orcha
Enjoy the day exploring Orcha, it’s fabulous fort, cities temples, and local life.
Day 8 : Orcha/Khujaraho/Orcha
Today you will take a day trip to Kujaraho, world famous for its erotic temples. After spending the day here, drive back for your final night in Orcha.
Day 9 : Orcha/Bundi
From Orcha you will drive for a fair amount of the day to Bundi where you will stay for two nights.
Day 10 : Bundi
Spend the day in and around Bundi.
Day 11 : Bundi/Bassi
This morning you will drive from Bundi to Bassi where you will check in at the Bassi Fort Palace, also where the family still resides. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to see the local village.
Day 12 : Bassi/Chittagaurgh/Bassi
A morning excursion to Chittagaurgh Fort. Return back to Bassi for the afternoon.
Day 13 : Bassi/Udaipur
After breakfast, leave for Udaipur. Check into hotel and then a walking tour of the city.
Day 14 : Udaipur
Day at leisure and to visit Udaipur palace.
Day 15 : Udaipur/Kumbalgarh/Ghanerao
Morning departure to Kumbalgarh Fort. After a day here, head to Ghanerao to check into the Royal Castle before dinner.
Day 16 : Ghanerao/Jodhpur
Enjoy a morning strolling around the winding streets of Ghanerao before departing to Jodhpur.
Day 17 : Jodhpur
Enjoy the blue buildings/houses of Jodhpur and everything else it has to offer.
Day 18 : Jodhpur/Jaisalmere
After breakfast, leave to Jaisalmere where you will stay inside of the most impressive forts in India.
Day 19 : Jaisalmere
A day of leisure in Jaisalmere.
Day 20 : Jaisalmere/Kichen
After a morning of finishing up anything you want to do in Jaisalmere, depart for the small, unknown area of Kichen.
Day 21 : Kichen/Kakoo
Something that many tourists never see, and many Indians also. 10,000 Siberian cranes take flight at once for their daily feeding. Afterwards, head to Kakoo to have the afternoon to relax and see a small desert village. Optional bonfire if desired.
Day 22 : Kakoo/Pushkar
After breakfast, two hour camel ride. After lunch leave towards Pushkar. On arrival, check in at guesthouse.
Day 23 : Pushkar
At day at leisure around Pushkar.
Day 24 : Pushkar/Jaipur
After breakfast, head to Jaipur, stopping at small, local spots and hearing the local tales of the areas.
Day 25 : Jaipur/Delhi
You will be taken back to Delhi for a day or two of site seeing around Delhi or to catch your international flight.
