YOGA TOUR


Day 1 : Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodation for the night.

Day 2 : Delhi/Amritsar
You will depart early for Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple-the most famous Sihk Temple. At night you will enjoy the border crossing ceremony and then spend another night in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar/Dharamsala
Depart in the morning to Dharamsala-known for being the home of the Dalai Lama and many Tibetan people. Optional afternoon yoga class.

Day 4-6: Dharamsala
Optional morning/night/both yoga classes. Enjoy the days hiking, learning about a life of a monk at a monestary, visiting the residence of the Dalai Lama, a day trip to do some horseback riding, taking a Tibetan cooking class, a day trip to natural hot springs, or just relaxing-enjoying the views of the Himalayas and maybe get an ayurvedic massage or two.

Day 7: Dharamsala/Manali
Checkout of your hotel and leave on a full day scenic drive to Kullu/Manali which sits higher in the mountains and has breathtaking views with matching hikes and walks to local villages. Manali is known for its many apple orchards that cover the area, flowing rivers, and snowcapped mountains.

Day 8-9: Manali
Go on some great local hikes, or spoil yourself while enjoy this remarkable setting. We can also some arrange some personal yoga lessons here.

Day 10: Manali/Shimla
Drive down to Shimla where you will have an afternoon to yourself to take in one of the larger mountain cities in India.

Day 11: Shimla/Dehra Dun
Optional scenic train ride that takes you through and over hundreds of bridges and tunnels. Or you can save time and drive down the mountain. End up for a night in Dehra Dun.

Day 12: Dehra Dun/Rishikish
Ready for more yoga? Set out to Rishikish, the yoga capital of the world. Optional night yoga class.

Day 13-15: Rishikish
Optional Morning/Night Yoga classes. During the day you can partake in any number of activities including water rafting, hikes, taking a dip in the Ganges River, a day trip to a national park to test your luck at spotting a tiger, or treating yourself to ayurvedic treatments.

Day 16: Rishikish/Delhi
From here you can head to Agra and continue touring with a combined Rajasthan/Madhya Pradesh trip or you can head to Delhi to catch your international flight back home.
